QMS Lead

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience building or rebuilding a QMS/IMS from scratch
• Strong working knowledge of integrated management system frameworks spanning quality, business, and safety processes
• A genuine self-starter, comfortable defining priorities and driving initiatives independently
• Strong document control, structuring, and process-mapping skills
• Confident engaging stakeholders at all levels to gather buy-in and information
• Based in or able to relocate to the Aberdeen area

Responsibilities:

• Rebuild the Integrated Management System (IMS) from the ground up
• Pull together fragmented documentation, processes, and ways of working into a single, structured, audit-ready system
• Pull together existing documentation from across the business and assess what is fit for purpose and what needs reworking
• Implement document meta-tagging and version control to improve order and traceability
• Identify, standardise, and embed best-practice processes across the organisation
• Drive a pipeline of quality and process improvement initiatives
• Work closely with stakeholders across Business, Safety, and Operations to ensure the system reflects how the business actually works

We are seeking an experienced QMS Lead to take ownership of building and rebuilding our Integrated Management System, bringing together Business, Safety, and Quality Management processes into one coherent, well-governed framework. This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role for someone who knows what good looks like in quality management systems and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get there. The role is full-time on-site in Aberdeen, five days a week, with periodic travel to other sites. It is a 2-year fixed-term contract with a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 DOE.
