IT Solutions Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Several years of experience managing IT within an SME or fast-growing business.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and business infrastructure.
• Experience administering modern SaaS platforms.
• A genuine interest in AI and automation.
• Experience implementing new technologies and encouraging user adoption.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, workflow automation, or low-code platforms would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Manage our Microsoft 365 environment, including users, licensing, Exchange, Teams, and tenant administration.
• Own SharePoint administration, permissions, document structure, and retention policies.
• Manage the complete joiner, mover, and leaver process.
• Support users with laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and day-to-day IT issues.
• Manage Intune, device security, and endpoint management.
• Maintain networking across office environments including Wi-Fi, firewalls, and connectivity.
• Manage Cyber Essentials controls and maintain security best practice.
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Manage suppliers, software licensing, hardware assets, and the IT budget.
• Identify where AI can deliver genuine business value across different departments.
• Establish AI governance, security, and data access policies.
• Train colleagues on AI tools and drive company-wide adoption.
