Senior Engineer, Growth

Salary: £59,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 5+ years of professional experience building consumer-facing applications.
• We require experience owning user-facing features end-to-end, from conception to launch.
• We require experience developing software in a collaborative, multi-functional, and fast-paced environment.
• We require proficiency with Kotlin, Java, or a similar backend language.
• We require experience working on systems with real-world performance and reliability constraints.
• We require strong communication skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities, set expectations with stakeholders, and drive outcomes.
• Ideally, we also value experience working on a multi-platform mobile app with significant traffic.
• Ideally, we also value high personal code and development standards, including code review, unit testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• We own the development of mobile application products.
• We build features in Kotlin and Spring.
• We write well-tested, high-quality code with an eye toward generics and reuse.
• We work closely with design and product teams to regularly ship working features.
• We participate in release planning and deployment of released builds.
• We mentor and advise team members.
• We evaluate and deliver timeline estimates for projects.
