Senior Security Engineer, Amazon Security Automation

Salary: £60,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience (non-internship) in scripting, programming, and security code reviewing in a common programming language
• Experience (non-internship) in troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks using command line tools
• Experience working in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans
• Experience (non-internship) in industry-based security vulnerabilities identification, attack patterns, and remediation techniques
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Experience applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques or equivalent
• Experience with security in service-oriented architectures/microservices and web services

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security research on AI-powered mechanisms for discovering and protecting customer data and applications at scale effectively and efficiently
• Ensure our agentic workflows deliver high impact security value
• Develop automated systems integrated into our security infrastructure
• Research and prototype new security solutions, evaluating design approaches for technical feasibility
• Scale security agents across our organization and ensure those agents apply up-to-date security expertise to their problems
