IT Systems Manager
Job Description
Salary: £42,000 - 82,000 per year
Requirements:- Solid, practical general IT skills with the ability to fix issues when people call for help
- Comfortable setting up new systems from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones
- Genuine understanding of AI tools and where they fit in a modern business
- Microsoft 365 confidence, ideally with administration experience
- Strong communication skills for working with Directors, field teams, and other colleagues
- Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage your own workload and spot issues early
- Adaptable, with the flexibility to handle varied day-to-day work
- Provide day-to-day IT support for all staff across hardware, software, and network issues
- Administer Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and Intune
- Manage and develop Monday.com as our central project and CRM platform
- Provide first-line support for our bespoke internal business systems
- Manage device lifecycles, including building, deploying, and decommissioning equipment
- Oversee IT security, backups, and business continuity
- Manage supplier and vendor relationships
- Lead IT projects such as new offices, fibre installs, and VoIP installs
- Act as the single point of contact for IT across multiple companies and sites

We are a growing, family-run group of companies based in rural West Sussex, working across boreholes, ground source heat pumps, civil engineering, and water licensing. This is an in-person role based in Kirdford, West Sussex, with genuine ownership of our IT function, direct access to Directors, and the opportunity to shape how technology supports our business as we grow.
