Senior Kotlin Developer - Birmingham

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin
• Backend/software engineering experience, not mobile development
• Experience working with AWS
• Exposure to TypeScript is desirable
• Experience delivering projects within a consultancy and/or public sector environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable backend applications using Kotlin
• Build secure, cloud-based solutions within AWS environments
• Work closely with architects, product teams, and fellow engineers
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Contribute to technical design and engineering best practices
• Support and mentor less experienced developers
