ERP Application Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements:- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, or another relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
- Experience with one or more Oracle module suites, including Financials (GL, AP, AR), Discrete Manufacturing (INV, BOM, WIP, Cost, PO), Supply Chain (Order Management, Shipping, WMS), Advanced Planning (ASCP, DP, MRP), or CRM (Depot Repair, Install Base, Service Contracts)
- Experience testing custom applications and Oracle patches
- Experience with PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle application tools, such as Workflow
- Experience with Oracle Demantra, Oracle AgilePLM, Kewill Flagship, or Management Dynamics Trade Automation applications
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
- Gather and document detailed requirements for business needs
- Collaborate with others to determine moderately complex functional and solution designs
- Identify advanced test scenarios and test customizations and configurations
- Configure, test, implement, and support Oracle eBusiness Suite applications and other business applications
- Support Garmin Finance globally across GL, AR, AP, and FA, with knowledge of EB Tax, Cash Management, and subledgers as an advantage
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding and execution of the software development lifecycle
- Use troubleshooting and research tools such as myOracleSupport, e-TRM, and Implementation Guides to perform moderately complex troubleshooting
- Identify interdependencies in programs
- Plan small to medium-sized projects or tasks
- Determine the feasibility of goals and objectives
- Provide reliable solutions using sound problem-solving techniques, including root cause analysis and corrective action
- Mentor less experienced Application Analysts
- Use established standards and procedures proficiently
- Maintain high-quality work documentation and organization
- Understand business impacts of issues as they relate to IT-owned solutions
- Support application maintenance activities, including patching and version updates
- Participate in incident management and corrective actions
- Collaborate directly with co-located and remote team members and business clients
- Adapt well to change

We are hiring an ERP Application Analyst Level 2 to join us in Southampton in an office-based role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. We offer a salary of £45,000 to £60,000 per annum depending on experience, along with excellent benefits. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as we do not offer sponsorship. This role focuses primarily on ERP financials and Oracle systems, supporting our global Finance function and working collaboratively with both local and remote teams.
