Senior Backend Software Engineer

Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for strong software engineering skills, including the ability to translate functional requirements into an elegant and simple design and deliver high-quality code.
• We want engineers who understand the product and customer needs in detail and can suggest innovative ideas that deliver value to end users.
• We require experience as a software engineer working on a product in production.
• We look for proven experience designing object-oriented software with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
• We value great team spirit, a problem-solving attitude, humility, and a willingness to grow at any seniority level.

Responsibilities:

• We develop our SaaS platform and build a comprehensive, user-friendly product.
• We participate in the full application development lifecycle, including design, coding, and keeping the production platform running.
• We may specialize in different areas, but we do not have a strict separation between backend and frontend work.
• We choose the most relevant tools for each problem, with a user-centric and pragmatic approach.
• We work as one team and contribute with curiosity, ownership, trust, humility, and team spirit.
