Junior IT Project Manager

Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an IT support, infrastructure, field engineering, or technical services role is a key requirement.
• Practical understanding of Microsoft 365, networking, endpoint setup, backup, security, and infrastructure projects.
• Comfortable translating technical detail into clear updates for clients and internal teams.
• Confident working with engineers and holding them accountable for project tasks and deadlines.
• Able to understand technical project requirements and challenge whether work has been completed properly.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day project tasks and updates.
• Keep clients informed on project progress.
• Manage Microsoft 365 migration, server, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare project documentation and handover notes.
• Review technical progress with engineers to ensure project tasks are completed correctly.
• Monitor project budgets and time allocation.
• Update project records in internal systems.
• Support project communication between teams.
• Ensure handovers are completed properly.
• Identify improvements to project processes.
• Coordinate project engineers and hold them accountable for agreed actions, updates, and deadlines.
