Requirements:

• We require strong hands-on 3rd line experience in application packaging for multiple platforms.
• We require expertise in a variety of packaging tools and formats.
• We require experience troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis.
• We require experience working within enterprise and highly regulated environments.
• We require experience in End User Computing, Workplace Engineering, or Desktop Infrastructure.
• We require extensive experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Apple Business Manager (ABM), iOS/iPadOS device management, Windows 10 and Windows 11, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365 Administration, and PowerShell scripting and automation.
• We require experience deploying and managing Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, Security Policies, Application Packaging and Deployment, and Conditional Access Policies.
• We require eligibility for BPSS checks.

Responsibilities:

• We provide expert-level 3rd line support and technical leadership across Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows OS, Apple Business Manager, iOS device management, policy deployment, and PowerShell automation.
• We implement, support, and continuously improve workplace solutions while ensuring a secure, stable, and seamless end-user experience.
• We build relationships with the client, third parties, and vendors.
• We identify automation and efficiency opportunities.
• We solve problems and develop technical solutions.

We are part of a growing End User Services UK department supporting multiple high-profile clients within the Capgemini portfolio. This is a contractor role for an Application Packager, with 4 seats available, based in Manchester, which is preferred, or Inverness, with 5 days onsite required. The contract duration runs until 20/03/2027, with a rate of £350 to £385. Successful candidates will complete pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality or immigration status, three years of employment history, and an unspent criminal record check.
