Technical Support Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• We provide technical support to customers and our Sales team for switchgear products, including application guidance and troubleshooting.
• We propose appropriate solutions to meet customer application requirements, ensuring technical suitability and clear communication of key assumptions or limitations.
• We deliver product technical and catalogue training to customers and staff.
• We attend customer sites to provide commissioning and troubleshooting assistance where required.
• We assist the sales team with technical estimates for quotations.
• We assess customer product returns and prepare clear technical assessment reports to support issue resolution and continuous improvement.

We are a leading provider of uninterruptible power supplies and switchgear solutions, recruiting for a strategically important Technical Support Engineer role within our UK-wide service team. We offer a salary of £38,000-£45,000 depending on experience, along with a company van, pension, overtime opportunities, door-to-door pay, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. The role is Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00, with flexible start and finish times, and we value expertise, integrity, and long-term development.
