Azure DevOps Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and applications within a DevOps, Platform Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering environment.
• Experience supporting legacy applications and infrastructure.
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Nginx and Apache Tomcat/HTTP Server.
• Experience with Bash scripting.
• Experience with containerisation and virtualisation technologies.
• Oracle 11 administration experience, including RAC, RMAN and Partitioning.
• Experience supporting and administering Elasticsearch.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience providing L3 support and resolving incidents.
• Active Security Clearance (SC) that has been used on a UK Government client engagement within the last 12 months.
• Active NPPV3 clearance that has been used within the last 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain production infrastructure and legacy applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.
• Undertake peer reviews and adhere to engineering best practices.
• Support Oracle and Elasticsearch platforms.
• Become a subject matter expert within the assigned service area.
• Contribute to platform improvements and automation initiatives.
