Lead Integration Developer

Salary: £26,000 - 66,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of integration architecture principles and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience designing API-led, service-oriented integrations
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP and associated integration services
• Understanding of data modelling, data governance and data quality principles
• Experience implementing integration solutions using authentication, authorisation and encryption techniques
• Familiarity with agile delivery
• Experience with integration platform as a service (iPaaS), such as Workato or similar
• Strong knowledge of API design, development and management, including REST, JSON, SOAP and related integration standards
• Experience with SQL and database design, development and administration
• Experience with ETL and ETL pipeline development
• Proficiency in Python and C# development
• Understanding of security, authentication and authorisation mechanisms for system integrations
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation of integration platforms

• We lead the design, development and delivery of enterprise integration solutions that enable secure, scalable and reliable connectivity across business applications, data platforms and external systems
• We define integration architecture, standards and governance practices that support operational efficiency, data-driven decision making and our digital transformation strategy
• We ensure integration solutions are resilient, maintainable and aligned with business objectives
• We define integration architecture, standards, patterns and best practices
• We design scalable, resilient and secure integration solutions aligned to business and technical requirements
• We develop integration roadmaps that support future business growth
• We integrate business-critical systems using APIs, REST services, ETL processes, event-driven architectures and middleware technologies
• We work with application owners and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange across platforms
• We establish and maintain integration governance, documentation and development standards
• We define approaches for data mapping, transformation, monitoring, error handling and exception management
• We monitor and optimise integration performance, throughput and scalability
• We identify and resolve bottlenecks across integration processes and data flows
• We evaluate integration technologies and third-party solutions
• We manage relationships with integration vendors and platform providers where required
