Senior Python Developer Cyber Security

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Advanced Python backend software engineering experience
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Enjoy learning and picking up new technologies
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Some experience with Rust, TypeScript, and/or C++
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Degree educated in a STEM discipline

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance backend services in Python
• Help build a greenfield platform designed to defend against emerging AI-powered attacks
• Take ideas from rapid prototypes through to robust, production-ready systems
• Work collaboratively within our R&D engineering team
• Help shape both our product and the underlying technology
• Choose the right tools to solve complex engineering challenges, including Rust and other modern technologies
• Contribute technical ownership, innovation, and continuous learning in a fast-paced R&D environment
