Technical Lead Temenos

Salary: £40,000 - 67,500 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Temenos Transact experience, specifically within Private Banking, Securities, and Corporate Actions
• Deep mastery of TAFJ, componentisation, and Java L3 customisation
• Hands-on experience with IF OUTBOX, Apache Camel, and IRIS APIs
• Experience with SWIFT, ISO20022, and MQ/REST/SOAP web services
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes

Responsibilities:

• Own the technical blueprint and interface designs for a high-volume, enterprise-scale Transact ecosystem
• Drive advanced Java L3 customisation and TAFJ componentisation, moving away from legacy frameworks to modern, clean code standards
• Architect robust, real-time event-driven integrations using IF OUTBOX, Apache Camel, and IRIS frameworks
• Direct performance testing, load testing, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, containerised deployments
• Act as the key technical liaison between business analysts, product owners, and executive stakeholders to translate wealth management requirements into technical execution

We are a top-tier banking firm working on our core wealth platforms in Glasgow. This is a 6-month initial contract role, offered inside IR35, with hybrid working of 2 to 3 days a week in the office. We are seeking a Technical Lead to spearhead the architectural design, integration, and deployment of our Transact ecosystem, working across complex Securities and Corporate Actions and modern TAFJ cloud-ready architectures.
