AWS DevOps / Platform Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong AWS and Terraform experience
• Experience with ECS (Fargate), Docker and CI/CD
• Experience with GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline
• Experience with CloudWatch, VPC, IAM, RDS and S3
• Experience with Linux, Bash and/or Python
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
• Kubernetes (EKS) experience is desirable
• PostgreSQL experience is desirable
• ElastiCache experience is desirable
• AWS certifications are desirable
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Build AWS infrastructure using Terraform
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline
• Manage ECS (Fargate), Lambda and containerised applications
• Support AWS networking, IAM, RDS, S3 and CloudWatch
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise production environments
• Improve platform security, reliability and automation

In this permanent role, you will work in a hybrid setup with 2–3 days onsite per week.
