AI/ML Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 82,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience deploying LLMs and machine learning models into Azure enterprise environments
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, and ideally Azure AI Foundry
• Experience building production AI applications using LangChain, LangGraph, and Python
• Experience with MLOps / LLMOps, including deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, and tool-calling patterns
• Experience building end-to-end AI/ML pipelines from data preparation through to production
• Experience working with technical and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions
• Desirable experience with MLflow, MCP, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure Data Factory

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and optimise machine learning models, LLM-powered applications, and agentic AI workflows within Microsoft Azure
• Work alongside platform engineers, data scientists, and data engineers to move AI from experimentation into secure, scalable products
• Take ownership across the AI lifecycle, from designing and deploying solutions through to monitoring, optimisation, and governance
• Build enterprise AI applications using RAG, vector databases, prompt orchestration, and tool-calling patterns
• Help influence how modern AI technologies are adopted across the wider business
