IT Infrastructure Security Engineer

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• ITIL Foundation and Microsoft MCSE (or equivalent)
• Strong experience with Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, VMware, Windows Server, SCCM, and PowerShell
• Solid understanding of networks, hybrid cloud environments, and mobile device management
• Solid understanding of Cyber Security and its relevant frameworks - Cyber Essentials, ISO and NIST
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Cisco certifications highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise on-prem and cloud infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, endpoints)
• Support deployments, patching, identity management (AD / Azure AD), and operational automation
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery, business continuity, and major incident resolution
• Monitor and respond to SIEM/EDR alerts; conduct vulnerability scanning and remediation
• Maintain firewalls, endpoint protection, and security controls; support Cyber Essentials compliance
• Collaborate with IT, Digital Transformation, Data teams, and third-party suppliers
