Manage Content Team

The Manage Content team owns the solutions for client and shopper communication, managing the connection between brands and retailers, and ensuring reviews and questions can be responded to and answered quickly and thoroughly to improve brand loyalty through great customer service. 

As a Staff Engineer seeking to join this team, you will be responsible for helping design, develop, deliver and own a range of solutions to help extend Bazaarvoice’s Client experience portfolio.

Technical Expectations

• - Cloud & Architecture: Deep expertise in cloud architectural patterns — microservices, serverless, streaming, CI/CD, data management, security, and observability. Own architectural decisions across one or more products, from design  through delivery.

• - Code & Operational Excellence: Champion clean, secure, and high-performing code. Lead troubleshooting with deep insight into runtime health, logging, and platform observability.

• - Execution & Innovation: Proactively drive continuous improvement, evangelise best practices, and turn technical ideas into production-ready execution.

• - Agentic AI Leadership: Stay at the forefront of agentic AI, design and advocate for AI-driven workflows that augment engineering productivity and unlock new product capabilities, while ensuring responsible adoption across the team.

Leadership and product ownership expectations

• - Client & Stakeholder Partnership: Engage with clients, PMs, designers, and leadership to discover, break down, and solve problems. Communicate technical concepts clearly across all audiences.

• - Team Leadership & Mentorship: Coach and mentor engineers technically and professionally. Drive team refinement, share knowledge broadly, and act as a cultural multiplier.

• - Strategic Execution: Balance hands-on technical contributions with strategic guidance. Collaborate across portfolios to deliver high-value software aligned with long-term business goals.

At Bazaarvoice, we value strong engineering fundamentals over narrow technical specialisation. Curiosity and adaptability matter more than familiarity with any specific tool. However for context, here's the Managed Content team's current tech stack:

Backend/API: Java, 

Frontend/BFFE: React, Node js, TypeScript, Express

Platform, CI/CD: AWS, Terraform, EKS, Docker, GitHub Actions

Observability and support tooling:Datadog, Logz.io, PagerDuty, CloudWatch, Sentry, FullStory
