Responsibilities:

• Work as part of our User Experience team under the general guidance of a lead UX Designer
• Produce designs required in an agile manner
• Develop initial screen designs, often presenting multiple options to our customer for direction, guidance, and agreement
• Support the design process through to build phase
• Engage effectively with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and secure design approval

We are supporting the CESA Futures Programme, a major 2-year-plus initiative within the wider Tax Admin Modernisation Programme. We are modernising the existing CESA application by creating new capabilities or transferring functionality to other existing systems across the HMRC estate. The build phase will follow agile principles with multiple Scrum teams working in two-week sprint cycles. The role is based in Telford with two days onsite per week, is inside IR35, requires BPSS clearance, and is offered on a 6-month duration at a rate of £350–£390.
