Technical Business Analyst - Dublin

Requirements:

• Experience with mandatory regulatory implementations within a Tier 1 investment bank
• High-level understanding of financial products and key asset classes such as debt, equity, and commodities
• Strong control mindset
• Fundamental accounting and reconciliation skills
• Strong data analysis capabilities
• Experience writing business requirements documents and reviewing technical specifications
• Some experience using visual BI/ETL tools such as Alteryx or Informatica to build simple solutions
• Ability to analyse large volumes of data using MS Excel and SQL, including pivots and data comparison
• Experience creating test scenarios and supporting user acceptance testing

Responsibilities:

• Work with business partner teams to deliver capital and other regulatory reporting projects, primarily related to COREP, Statistical, Finrep, and Anacredit
• Apply accounting, data analysis, small build changes, and project management skills to help design and implement our new regulatory reporting platform
• Liaise across finance, middle office, operations, treasury, and other areas of the bank
• Analyse and document business and technical processes for data sourcing, data normalisation, and regulatory and internal management information reporting
• Work closely with business subject matter experts, development teams, and testing teams to produce business requirements for business, operational, and technical changes
• Collaborate with testing support teams to ensure a full understanding of changes and complete testing coverage
• Support business partners during user acceptance testing phases
• Review and approve test scenarios and test cases developed by QA testers
