Technical Architect

Salary: £37,000 - 68,500 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Architect
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience across enterprise architecture, microservices, or distributed systems
• Ability to work across the full delivery lifecycle in Agile environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Exposure to architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe, UML, ArchiMate, etc.) is beneficial
• Consultancy or client-facing experience highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Designing end-to-end technical solutions for complex enterprise and public sector programmes
• Working closely with clients to shape requirements and define architecture approaches
• Producing key architecture artefacts including high-level designs, technical options, and roadmaps
• Acting as a technical leader across engineering teams, guiding delivery and resolving architectural challenges
• Communicating complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders and board-level audiences
• Supporting cost estimation, planning, and business case development for transformation initiatives
• Ensuring solutions align with governance, security, and enterprise architecture standards
