Software Architect

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in a Software Architect role
• Strong technical development background with hands-on engineering experience
• Experience operating within mature SaaS organizations, ideally B2B SaaS with high customer volumes
• Experience working with distributed and offshore teams
• Comfortable engaging at both strategic and detailed technical levels
• Deep understanding of modern DevOps practices and architecture patterns
• Experience designing microservices
• Experience designing event-driven architectures
• Experience developing software with cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
• Experience with a range of database technologies and practices including OLAP, OLTP, ETL, and Data Warehousing
• Experience with AI architecture

Responsibilities:

• Shape and deliver the next generation of customer-facing platforms
• Collaborate with teams to design large scale cloud-first SaaS solutions
• Ensure high performance in software that can handle high data throughput and large data sets
• Create clean code while following DevOps practices
• Engage with both strategic and detailed technical discussions as required
• Mentor and support junior developers in architectural best practices
