Signals Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- Knowledge of intelligence requirements and intelligence oversight policies
- Ability to work weekends and a rotating 24/7 shift schedule
- Ability to perform, collaborate, and communicate in an operational working environment
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- High school diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with signal analysis or processing, or a bachelors degree and 4+ years of experience with signal analysis or processing
- Experience with signal collection, digital signal processing, or technical work at a technical processing center
- Experience using specialized analysis and mapping tools
- Ability to evaluate system inaccuracies and identify improvements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of the SIGE-2810 or SIGE-3810 course
- Examine radar emissions, signals, and other electronic data to identify and assess foreign electronic capabilities
- Use signal-processing tools and techniques to collect, interpret, and analyze data, providing insights into potential threats and strategic developments
- Analyze electronic signal data and prepare reports and briefings communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with intelligence professionals, military personnel, and government agencies to share information and support joint intelligence operations
- Keep up to date with developments in electronic systems and signal-processing technologies
- Contribute to developing analytical tools and methodologies
- Interact with collection managers, collection operators, and analysts on analytic methods, technologies, and collection strategies
- Collaborate with national and tactical collection and operations elements to advance target development, recommend collection strategies, and support strategic and operational requirements
