ServiceNow DevOps Delivery Lead

Salary: £53,000 - 93,000 per year

Requirements:

• Significant experience leading enterprise scale DevOps functions and technology delivery teams.
• Strong ServiceNow expertise spanning platform development, operations, release management and service delivery.
• A track record of leading multi disciplinary teams and coordinating delivery across multiple suppliers and stakeholders.
• Hands on experience with Agile delivery, backlog prioritisation and demand management.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, release management, deployment processes and integration architectures.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, operating models and performance management approaches in complex enterprise settings.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills, including experience engaging senior business and technology leaders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and coordination across our ServiceNow DevOps function, ensuring platform objectives and priorities are delivered effectively.
• Lead and direct a team of six to eight colleagues, promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement across all delivery teams.
• Guide the prioritisation and management of platform demand, including incidents, changes and enhancements, in line with business priorities.
• Oversee the end to end DevOps lifecycle, from CI/CD pipelines and release management to deployment processes and environment governance.
• Assess and enhance our DevOps operating model, embedding best practice in automation, monitoring, standardisation and service reliability.
• Establish governance forums, reporting structures and stakeholder engagement activities that support strong decision making.
• Act as a senior liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, systems integrators and technology vendors, keeping everyone aligned on priorities, risks and outcomes.
• Define, monitor and improve delivery KPIs and operational metrics to drive continuous optimisation and scalability.
