Senior Value Engineer

Salary: £37,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of business software and SaaS applications, such as SAP
• Hands-on SQL and/or Python skills
• Experience collaborating with IT teams
• Experience developing dashboards and automations in tools like Power BI or RPA
• Knowledge of and experience with AI-powered solutions
• Experience in an analytical role focused on demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, process improvement, and software deployment
• Ideally customer-facing experience in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting with a Business Software or SaaS provider, or within a consultancy
• Alternatively, in-house experience within an enterprise, such as a Center of Excellence for Data Mining, Analytics, or Intelligence
• Experience identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures
• Experience as a change agent and in training users or process owners to realize value
• Experience planning and managing project scope, expectations, and timelines
• Experience preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, internally and externally
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Confident and professional presence
• Understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain and strategic transformation initiatives, such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation
• Ideally expertise in one or more industries, such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a comparable technical discipline

Responsibilities:

• Discover and translate our customers strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases
• Advise organisations on how our platform fits into their existing IT landscape and AI strategy
• Build demos and business cases using industry benchmarks and best practices to win new customers
• Use hands-on technical skills, including SQL and Python, to build AI prototypes that bring our platform to life for new audiences
• Communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-level executives
• Facilitate business value workshops and use our platform to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement
• Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives
• Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
• Own the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewing
• Build a strategic expansion roadmap for customers, embedding our Process Intelligence platform as a strategic business transformation platform and driving adoption and expansion
• Provide feedback to our product development teams to enhance our platform and apps based on new use cases
