Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Python development experience.
• We require experience with Perl programming.
• We need strong Linux systems and platform engineering expertise.
• We require infrastructure automation experience across server and virtualization environments.
• We value experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• We expect knowledge of enterprise server hardware, networking, and storage.
• VMware/vSphere automation experience is desirable.
• Data centre infrastructure experience is desirable.
• Hardware engineering and lifecycle management experience is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you modernise and enhance infrastructure management tools and platform applications.
• You will develop automation solutions across server and virtualization environments.
• You will improve our Python codebases.
• You will support Linux-based platforms and distributed systems.
• You will drive engineering best practices, CI/CD improvements, and long-term platform enhancements.
