Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Salary: £36,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need at least 5 years of experience in SAP consulting or in an internal SAP role.
• We need hands-on project lifecycle experience with SAP ECC FI/CO configuration.
• We need a strong track record of working on or leading SAP transformation or upgrade projects.
• We need a good understanding of integration with modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
• We need experience in business analysis, functional design, and stakeholder engagement.
• We need strong documentation and process mapping skills.
• Experience with or exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance is desirable.
• Familiarity with IDocs, EDI, and ALE is desirable.
• Knowledge of data migration, business process redesign, or SAP clean core principles is desirable.
• An NVQ Level 3 in Business Improvement Techniques, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, is desirable.
• Experience using business analysis or modelling tools, manual or software-based, is desirable.
• We ideally want a qualified Accountant or someone qualified by experience.
• We need flexibility to occasionally travel to sites within the UK and Europe.

• We work with colleagues across departments to understand requirements and turn them into clear SAP solutions, documentation, and processes.
• We lead and support projects from planning through execution across departments, technologies, and external partners where needed.
• We identify areas for improvement in SAP and business workflows and help shape practical, value-driven solutions.
• We resolve support tickets and help teams use SAP more effectively.
• We support less experienced team members and help build collective capability.
• We work closely with internal IT and business teams across the UK and Europe.
• We support project implementations across the UK and EMEA.
