Senior Salesforce Engineer

Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Advanced experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SOQL, declarative Flow automation, REST APIs, Salesforce configurations, security model, and Salesforce integration patterns
• Understanding of CI/CD and Salesforce deployment methodologies
• Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and problem-solving
• Strong communication skills to liaise with product managers, stakeholders, and administrators
• Salesforce developer certification is desirable, including Platform Developer I/II or Platform App Builder

Responsibilities:

• Develop complex Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components to scale system logic and user interfaces
• Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems in our organization
• Work with internal stakeholders and product managers to understand business needs and create innovative solutions
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write and maintain test classes for custom development
• Support and take ownership of each release cycle to implement and deploy new and updated applications and code
• Translate business requirements into secure, high-performance, and scalable technical blueprints
• Drive initiatives and help the team deliver business systems forward
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and guide junior developers
• Participate in discussions with business stakeholders and product managers
