Senior Platform Engineer Azure AKS SaaS

Salary: £95,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need excellent troubleshooting skills and experience supporting mission-critical production environments.

• We are looking for someone comfortable in a senior role who can provide some mentoring.

Responsibilities:

• We design, build, and optimise highly available Azure infrastructure.
• We ensure our platform remains secure, resilient, and scalable as demand grows.
• We automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational processes.
• We drive improvements across the software delivery lifecycle while reducing operational overhead.
• We collaborate with engineering teams to help shape platform architecture.
• We improve observability and performance across the platform.
• We champion Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps best practices.
• We solve complex technical challenges in a hands-on role.
• We support the reliability and evolution of our mission-critical cloud platform.

We are a technology-driven FinTech operating a mission-critical cloud platform at serious scale, spanning more than 250 nodes and processing over 32 million requests every day. This is a flexible hybrid role based around our Reigate office, where you will join us twice a week for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings, with the other three days working from home. You must live within one hour of Reigate.
