Requirements:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong background supporting enterprise-scale environments and a proven track record working across complex multi-site networks.
• Experience with Fortinet Firewalls is highly desirable.
• Experience with Extreme XIQ Wireless is highly desirable.
• Experience with ClearPass or equivalent NAC solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience with Infoblox IPAM is highly desirable.
• Experience across LAN/WAN networking is highly desirable.
• Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching is highly desirable.
• Experience with DNS and DHCP is highly desirable.
• Experience with IPv4 and IPv6 is highly desirable.
• Experience with network security and access control is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting ability is essential.
• Clear communication skills are essential.
• A methodical approach to problem solving is essential.
• We are looking for candidates who can work within complex environments, manage multiple priorities and provide technical leadership when required.
• Experience in large corporate, public sector, critical infrastructure, engineering or highly regulated environments is likely to be beneficial.

We are working with a major organisation that operates a large, complex and business-critical network estate across multiple UK locations. As investment continues across infrastructure and cyber resilience, we are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the team and help maintain, secure and evolve our core network services. This is a hands-on role within an established team of infrastructure specialists, with exposure to a wide range of enterprise networking technologies. The role offers a hybrid working model, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Oxfordshire, and regular site attendance forms an important part of the position. This engagement offers a strong mix of technical challenge, project involvement and operational responsibility, making it well suited to experienced contractors who enjoy working across a broad range of technologies.
