Senior Machine Learning Engineer Python AWS

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Advanced Python coding skills
• Strong knowledge of AWS
• Experience across the full lifecycle of machine learning model development, including production deployment
• Good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices, microservices, TDD, DDD, and common design patterns
• Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with Databricks, PostgreSQL, Amazon RedShift, or MLflow would be beneficial but is not essential

Responsibilities:

• Work as a senior, hands-on Machine Learning Engineer within a cross-functional team
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Software Engineers on complex insurance underwriting and pricing systems
• Develop data models and implement machine learning algorithms
• Contribute to greenfield projects around forecasting and pricing
• Participate in technical discussions within a collaborative Agile environment
• Mentor more junior team members if desired
