Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience in a senior infrastructure, cloud, or technical lead role.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware experience.
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security.
• Experience leading infrastructure or cloud projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and oversee system upgrades, patches, and security measures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
• Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
• Ensure data backup and disaster recovery systems are in place and functional.
• Stay updated with advancements in technology relevant to the life science industry.

We are a life science company based in Liverpool, offering a permanent Senior Infrastructure Engineer position.
