Senior Frontend Developer

Salary: £65,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with React.
• Experience developing applications with Next.js.
• Strong TypeScript expertise.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and modern engineering practices.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating backend services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to take ownership and drive technical improvements.
• Experience working in fast-paced technology-led environments.
• Exposure to server-side rendering and performance optimisation.
• Experience working closely with UX/UI teams.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and frontend best practices.
• Experience contributing to technical strategy and architectural discussions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Build scalable, reusable and maintainable frontend components.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver new features.
• Drive improvements to performance, accessibility and user experience.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Mentor and support other developers within the team.
• Support cloud-hosted applications and services within AWS.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across systems and development processes.
• Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
