Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
• Experience designing and deploying secure cloud-based solutions
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with automation and modern DevOps engineering practices
• Experience with monitoring and platform services
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• Ability to hold, or be eligible for, Security Clearance (SC)
• Eligibility to meet UK security clearance requirements, including being a British Citizen and having lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years

Responsibilities:

• Design and build new AWS cloud infrastructure
• Develop and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Design, implement and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Build and support platform services for containerised applications
• Automate deployment, operation and monitoring processes
• Support the deployment and scaling of new applications and services
• Apply security best practices across cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines
• Work closely with engineering teams to onboard products onto shared platform services
• Help solve complex technical and infrastructure challenges
• Work directly with customers and technical stakeholders where required

We are a leading tech consultancy delivering complex, secure solutions across a range of high-profile projects. You will work across several programmes, including major UK Government projects and an innovative new technology programme focused on taking newly designed AI solutions and implementing and scaling them within live environments. This is a predominantly remote role with occasional travel to a client site in London, and you will operate as either a Technical or Senior Technical Consultant in a senior, hands-on role across the full delivery lifecycle, working within agile engineering teams to design, build and deploy secure and scalable infrastructure.
