Job Description

Salary: £42,000 - 73,000 per year

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of professional experience in data protection and privacy management
  • Relevant industry certification, such as IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM, or Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection
  • Proven GDPR competency and knowledge of current data protection regulations
  • Expert-level technical knowledge of developing and implementing data protection frameworks and policies
  • Experience conducting compliance audits and risk assessments, and engaging stakeholders on data protection matters
Responsibilities:
  • Support all aspects of developing and delivering our Group Data Protection strategy, including operationalising and managing the Privacy and Data Protection risk management framework
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to our Clusters and Group support functions
  • Work as part of our Group Data Protection Team and assist the Group DPO in overseeing and supporting Privacy and Data Protection Analysts
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on data protection compliance across our organisation
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify risks and areas for improvement
  • Engage stakeholders across departments to embed data protection principles in business operations
  • Lead data protection impact assessments and advise on regulatory requirements and obligations
  • Design and deliver training programmes to promote data protection awareness and best practice
