Senior Data Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £41,600 - 45,760 per year
Requirements:- Valid CSCS or ECS card
- Proven experience in structured cabling installations
- Experience installing containment systems
- Experience working at height and using cherry pickers/MEWPs
- Excel Cat6A installation experience
- Ability to conduct testing using Fluke DSX testers
- Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification is desirable
- Previous experience supervising teams on commercial installation projects is desirable
- Supervise and support structured cabling installation activities
- Install and maintain containment systems
- Complete Excel Cat6A data cabling installations
- Carry out testing and certification using Fluke DSX equipment
- Operate and work from cherry pickers and access equipment where required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications and health and safety requirements
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved

We are partnering with a leading provider of technology solutions within the heavy industrial sector. Our expertise spans structured cabling, IP surveillance systems, cyber-security, IT managed services, and connectivity solutions. This is a hands-on supervisory role supporting the completion of a key installation project at our Newcastle city centre site. The initial contract is expected to last approximately 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements. Please note that there is no onsite parking available and no parking or travel allowance is provided.
