Senior Data Analyst

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Data Analytics / BI, with proven Power BI delivery in production
• Advanced Power BI experience, including data modelling and DAX
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience with enterprise data warehouses, medallion architecture, and Kimball methodology
• Strong grasp of BI performance optimisation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse and Dataflows Gen2
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Azure, AWS, or GCP experience is a plus
• Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines and governance is a plus
• Python or R scripting experience is a plus
• Power BI or Fabric certifications are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions, including semantic models, reports, and dashboards
• Build scalable data models using star schema and Kimball methodology
• Develop advanced DAX measures
• Use Power Query (M) for data transformation
• Optimise report and dataset performance
• Manage deployment across environments
• Implement governance standards, including naming conventions, documentation, and RLS
• Validate data via SQL
• Translate business requirements into BI solutions across Finance, HR, R&D, and other teams
