Senior Cloud Services Engineer

Salary: £23,000 - 61,000 per year

Requirements:

• Practitioner-level proficiency in architecture design and strategy for AWS and Nutanix environments.
• Practitioner-level proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Practitioner-level proficiency in AWS Route 53 DNS management.
• Practitioner-level proficiency in scaling and optimizing systems on AWS EC2 and S3.
• Practitioner-level proficiency in AWS security and compliance, including security groups, IAM roles, and policies.
• Practitioner-level proficiency in disaster recovery and backup strategies for AWS environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, maintain, and monitor infrastructure and enterprise applications across our organisation, focusing on best practices and automation.
• Develop and implement robust, scalable, highly available architecture for AWS and Nutanix environments, including Route 53 and EC2.
• Design and manage infrastructure as code to provision, configure, and manage AWS resources efficiently.
• Manage and optimize DNS resolution in AWS Route 53, including routing policies, health checks, and domain registration.
• Design and implement scalable AWS EC2 and S3 systems, including load balancing, auto-scaling, and performance tuning.
• Ensure AWS deployments comply with industry-standard security protocols and our company policies.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies for AWS environments, ensuring data integrity and availability.
