Senior C# Developer - SC Cleared

Salary: £50,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• 8+ years of proven experience as a C# Developer or in a similar software development role.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework, including .NET Core.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems, with Git preferred.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar, with an understanding of responsible and secure AI use.
• A degree or equivalent qualification related to the area of work is desirable.
• Must hold an active SC clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain C# applications, components, and systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug software applications to resolve issues and optimise performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and software engineering.
• Document code and technical specifications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Help shape and deliver digital solutions across public, private, and third sectors as a consultant.
• Define, design, and deliver software solutions aligned to client needs.
