Job Description
Salary: £130,000 - 143,000 per year
Requirements:- Active SC Clearance, current and transferable
- Strong experience working within Central Government environments
- Proven delivery experience aligned to GDS (Government Digital Service) standards
- Experience designing end-to-end user journeys and service interactions
- Ability to work effectively within agile, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Design user-centred interactions for complex digital services
- Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and service flows
- Apply GDS principles, standards and best practices throughout delivery
- Collaborate closely with User Researchers, Content Designers, Developers and Product Managers
- Contribute to service assessments and ensure accessibility standards are met
- Translate user needs and business requirements into effective digital experiences

We are supporting a major Central Government programme and are looking for an experienced Interaction Designer to join a multidisciplinary digital team delivering user-centred public services. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile government projects and help shape intuitive, accessible services that make a real impact for citizens across the UK. The role is a 6-month contract, inside IR35, offering up to £550 per day, with hybrid working from Bristol, London or Newcastle and 1-2 days per week onsite.
