Job Description

Salary: £46,000 - 86,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another technical program, or equivalent industry certifications/additional years of experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Proven experience with Salesforce configuration, user management, and data maintenance
  • Familiarity with Salesforce tools such as Data Loader, Process Builder, and Flows
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including standard and custom objects, workflows, and reports
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve Salesforce administrative problems up to low-medium complexity
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet requests and deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, speaking, and presentations with clarity and thoroughness
  • Excellent collaboration skills, including diligent follow-up, issue resolution, expectation setting, and navigating difficult situations
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or higher preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using tools like Zapier, MuleSoft, or APIs preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange products and add-ons preferred
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Einstein Analytics preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary administrator for the Salesforce environment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
  • Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings
  • Maintain system health, perform regular data audits, and ensure data integrity
  • Support Salesforce service problem and incident troubleshooting and resolution with the IT/BizApps team, peers, partners, and business customers
  • Conduct and present root cause analysis of incidents as appropriate
  • Assist in defining, implementing, and executing disaster recovery and high-availability plans
  • Identify stability, performance, and risk trends and conditions that indicate the need for changes to the Salesforce environment
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with vendor partners, technicians, peer engineers, and business teams
  • Represent the IT/BizApps team in broader organizational change, risk control, and governance initiatives
  • Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, validation rules, and automation processes
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making
  • Implement changes and enhancements to meet evolving business requirements
  • Design and implement automation solutions such as Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes to streamline business operations
  • Optimize workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency across teams
  • Support integration of Salesforce with third-party tools and applications
  • Provide day-to-day support to Salesforce users, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to improve user adoption and proficiency
  • Act as a Salesforce subject matter expert, addressing inquiries and guiding users on best practices
  • Manage data imports, exports, and updates using tools like Data Loader and Salesforce Data Import Wizard
  • Ensure data accuracy through deduplication, validation, and ongoing monitoring
  • Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to meet reporting needs across departments
  • Stay informed about Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and assess their potential impact
  • Test and implement new Salesforce features and functionality to ensure seamless updates
  • Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues promptly
  • Work independently, take initiative, prioritize effectively, and complete tasks on time
  • Make decisions quickly and be comfortable acting on partial information when needed
