Quality Test Engineer

Requirements:

• Current SC Clearance
• Experience in software testing and test automation
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices
• Experience with performance testing and test strategy creation
• Java experience
• Selenium and BrowserStack experience
• Knowledge of debugging, logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Azure Application Insights, Azure Event Hub, Adobe Insights or Qualtrics
• Experience with Gatling and Azure DevOps
• Automation scripting experience
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of Docker and application architecture principles

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test cases across multiple technology stacks
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Design and implement performance testing strategies
• Execute performance and load testing activities
• Investigate issues through debugging, tracing and log analysis
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders in an Agile delivery team
• Support CI/CD and quality assurance processes

We are seeking an SC Cleared Quality Test Engineer to support the delivery of software solutions for one of our local clients. This is a remote role with occasional travel to Hursley and London, typically 2–3 days per month. The position is inside IR35 and offers the opportunity to be upgraded to DV clearance. We are looking for someone who can contribute across the full testing lifecycle and help us deliver robust, scalable, and fit-for-purpose applications within an Agile environment.
