Product Owner
Job Description
Salary: £40,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- Pragmatic and collaborative communicator who adapts messages to the audience.
- Skilled at writing clear, simple user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Comfortable using lifecycle tools such as Jira.
- Decisive and organised, with sound judgement on when to escalate.
- Able to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Demonstrates humility, ownership and integrity.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the product backlog for one of our solutions.
- Convert product requirements into well-formed user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting collateral such as release notes and usage or implementation documentation.
- Own and prioritise the backlog, providing visibility and direction to sprint goals and release plans.
- Act as the voice of Product and the customer within the development process and make decisions on how requirements are met.
- Collaborate with Engineering and UI/UX, join ceremonies, clarify scope and remove blockers.
- Run customer show & tells and focus groups to validate value and sharpen requirements.
- Track progress against agreed release dates, managing risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
- Become a domain expert, demo features internally and externally, and contribute to go-to-market materials.
