Product Manager - Customer Insight Platform

Salary: £104,000 - 104,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience creating and communicating a compelling product vision
• Extensive experience managing complex digital or data products throughout their lifecycle
• Experience working in Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery environments
• Demonstrable success delivering products through Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live phases
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience defining product metrics and using data to drive prioritisation and decision-making
• Ability to build and maintain product roadmaps aligned to wider organisational strategies
• Experience working with multiple engineering, DevOps and data platform teams
• Strong backlog management and prioritisation expertise
• Experience writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience working within large-scale data, analytics or insight-driven environments

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Discovery and Alpha phases of a critical initiative within our Customer Insight Platform
• Help define the product vision, roadmap and strategic direction
• Support planning, estimation and business case development for the build and live phases
• Work across cross-functional agile teams responsible for collecting, analysing and enabling customer interaction data at scale
• Contribute to the transformation of fraud detection capabilities from reactive, rules-based approaches to a proactive, automated capability
• Collaborate with investigators and teams to uncover complex fraud patterns across large-scale datasets
• Manage backlog prioritisation and product delivery in an Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery environment
• Engage technical and non-technical stakeholders to align delivery and build consensus

We are hiring a Product Manager for our Customer Insight Platform in Telford, with a primary base and hybrid working plus travel to London and Stratford as required. This is a 6-month PAYE-only role with BPSS clearance required. You will join a high-profile Government counter-fraud programme focused on major data and analytics transformation, working alongside multidisciplinary agile teams in a collaborative environment. The role offers exposure to large-scale data platforms, advanced analytics capabilities, and the opportunity to help shape a nationally significant fraud detection initiative.
