Product Manager
Job Description
Salary: £42,000 - 46,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience leading digital product or service development projects
- Experience managing supplier relationships and digital delivery partnerships
- Background in user-centred design, research, or service co-production
- Experience integrating digital systems such as CRM, CMS, LMS, and data platforms
- Track record of improving organisational digital capability and culture
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
- Skilled in agile delivery, product road mapping, and backlog management
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities
- Competent in using data and analytics for decision-making and improvement
- Deep understanding of accessibility, usability, and digital inclusion principles
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is desirable but not essential
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Digital Product Management, Service Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Professional certification or training in Agile Project Management, Product Ownership, or Service Design is desirable
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with organisational priorities
- Maintain and review the roadmap quarterly
- Ensure all digital products integrate effectively with CRM, data, content, and analytics platforms
- Ensure compliance with digital architecture, data protection, and accessibility standards
- Coordinate digital product sprints, releases, and milestones in partnership with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Deliver deadlines and milestones on time and within scope
- Define, monitor, and report on product success metrics such as engagement, reach, and efficiency
- Share regular insights and reports with leadership
- Lead user research, co-design sessions, and testing activities to ensure digital products meet user needs and accessibility standards
- Incorporate user feedback into development cycles
- Act as the bridge between the organisation, service users, and delivery partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment of priorities
- Champion agile and user-centred working practices across the organisation to strengthen digital maturity and capability
- Ensure digital products deliver measurable value for our beneficiaries, partners, and supporters by understanding their needs and translating them into actionable product priorities
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to two team members
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, encouraging professional growth and shared ownership of outcomes

We are a charity based in Edinburgh and are hiring a Product Manager on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover basis. This is a hybrid role with one day onsite, although additional onsite attendance may be needed for important meetings. The role is 32.5 hours per week over five days, with a salary of up to £46k, plus a pension scheme, life assurance, and 36 days of holiday inclusive of public holidays that increases with length of service. Sponsorship is not available, so applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are looking for someone who can lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of our digital products and services, deliver the Digital Roadmap, and strengthen our internal digital capability while working closely with internal teams, external partners, and our service users. The interview process includes an initial online screening and an onsite interview with a presentation task.
