Principal Embedded Engineer

Salary: £41,500 - 69,500 per year

Requirements:

• Good academics
• At least 5 years of experience in low-level Embedded C / Assembler programming
• Experience in Embedded Systems Design
• Experience with ARM Architecture
• Experience using Real Time Operating Systems
• Networking knowledge, including TCP and UDP
• Automotive or medical sector expertise would be advantageous
• Team lead experience or willingness to step into a leadership role

Responsibilities:

• Join an established team in central Bristol developing embedded software products for a range of customers
• Work on challenging embedded software development projects
• Review the work of others
• Assist junior team members
• Contribute in a collaborative engineering environment
• Take on responsibility with scope for rapid progression into a management role
