Platform Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Existing Security Clearance is required due to the nature of the work.
• Experience supporting and operating production platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Linux administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with several of the following technologies: Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Helm, AWS, VMware, Bash, Go and/or Rust is beneficial.
• We are looking for engineers who learn quickly and enjoy solving technical problems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy and maintain modern infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Build and improve secure, automated platform infrastructure.
• Deploy solutions into complex production environments.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Work closely with developers to streamline software delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimise platform performance.
• Contribute ideas, challenge existing approaches and help shape engineering best practice.
