Performance Specialist

Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with a good understanding and working experience of compiling and generating performance reports and management information.
• We need strong data handling and technical skills, with experience in information validation using Excel and other analytical tools.
• We require data manipulation skills and experience.
• We are looking for experience working with reporting and analysis packages and extracting data from corporate systems such as ServiceNow or other CRMs, QlikView, Alteryx, Power BI or similar.
• We need someone who can communicate appropriately and confidently with a range of audiences, including peers, senior colleagues and specialists at all levels of the organisation.
• Successful candidates must be able to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK, a criminal record check (DBS), and verification of employment and/or education history for the past three years.
• Appointment is subject to successful completion of pre-employment checks, including security vetting.

Responsibilities:

• We will expect you to deliver timely, fit-for-purpose reporting within agreed SLAs.
• We will rely on you to continuously improve report efficiency so the focus can remain on analysing data rather than processing it.
• You will produce performance reporting from numerous data sources covering business-level performance against targets and regulatory performance.
• You will develop an in-depth knowledge of our processes and systems to ensure accuracy across customer-focused roles.
• You will transform data into clear visualisations that meet stakeholder needs and provide a complete picture.
• You will support the wider team by providing information needed to make informed decisions across a range of topics.
• You will provide data to external stakeholders such as MOSL, WaterUK and Ofwat.
• You will investigate, build, process, review, analyse and report on performance and related issues.
• You will support regulatory activity and process change.

We are partnering directly with Southern Water to hire a Performance Analyst, internally known as a Performance Specialist, for our Durrington hybrid team on a 12-month fixed-term contract working 37 hours per week with a salary of £34,000 to £38,000 depending on skills and experience.
