Network Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with Cisco Meraki and/or similar enterprise networking platforms
• Knowledge of cloud networking technologies, particularly within Azure and/or AWS
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Strong experience working within enterprise networking environments
• A degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure, or a similar field would be beneficial
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching
• Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, WAN technologies, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 networking
• Experience troubleshooting network issues within complex enterprise environments
• Understanding of network security best practices
• Familiarity with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, or network automation/scripting would be beneficial
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative technical team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Support and improve our enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and firewall infrastructure
• Manage our cloud networking environments across Azure and other cloud platforms
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching technologies
• Support multi-site network connectivity and migration projects
• Drive automation and infrastructure standardisation initiatives
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative solutions
• Collaborate with our security and infrastructure teams to maintain robust security controls
• Participate in infrastructure projects and provide technical expertise to stakeholders

With continued investment in modernisation, automation, and security, we are expanding our infrastructure team and looking for a hands-on Network Infrastructure Engineer to help support resilient, secure, and scalable network solutions across our multi-site environment. The role is based in London on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office, offered on a permanent contract, with a salary of £65,000 to £75,000 plus bonus and benefits including private medical cover, pension, hybrid working, training and development, and wellbeing benefits.
